Barry Reid was introduced to angling as a child by his late father, a fly-fisherman whose confidence was always rewarded. Barry pursued his hobby, finding peace and enjoyment in the simplicity of fishing from the streams of America to the Irish waters of Donegal and Northern Ireland.

After studying Theology in Philadelphia Barry decided to return to his original roots in County Antrim to take a break and spend some time with his family and start his own business. Partnering his entrepreneurial ambitions with his passion for fishing, Barry founded Trout Tours NI to offer game fishing to those living in and visiting Northern Ireland. Barry’s vision for the venture was simple; to share everything he loves about fishing and Northern Ireland with people who join him on the tours and make their experience the best it can be.

Barry takes pleasure in spending time with fellow enthusiasts and showing them everything his homeland has to offer; stunning scenery, great rivers and lakes and good food. Guests return as friends, time and again to make more memories with those who share a passion for trout fishing
